1 lb. Pure Organic Oregon Beeswax Chunks, Bulk (16oz.)

We secured a large amount of Beeswax from a once wonderful store in Portland, Oregon (formerly known as Portland Homestead) for making our Vintage Glass Beeswax Candles. When they announced they'd be going out of business, we bought all the beeswax they had––to share with you all for your makings.

Pure Oregon Organic Beeswax chucks are cut from giant blocks that are 100% pure beeswax,––filtered twice––ready to use for candle making, crafts, sewing, quilting, woodworking, archery, lotion supplies, fly fishing, bee candle wax, hair dreadlocks, etc. If you are using beeswax in food preparation, the easiest way to work with beeswax is to put the beeswax in the freezer for a few hours and then grate it.

This is 100% pure natural beeswax! Did you know that stores, etc. can sell beeswax mixed with another type of wax and still call it beeswax. As long as it contains 51% beeswax, these stores can call it beeswax. Our beeswax is 100% pure beeswax. Beeswax should feel tacky, not greasy at all and have a golden yellow color.

Other Uses for Beeswax:

  • Polish and preserve a set of copper pots for years
  • Season 4 cast iron frying pans and give them a non-stick coating
  • Pre-treat 5 snow shovels so that the snow won’t stick
  • Waterproof 8 pair of canvas shoes, 10 canvas hats, or 4 canvas rucksacks
  • Preserve wooden garden beds without adding toxins to your organic garden
