Six months in.
Welcome! We are fresh into 2019 with six months of Found Natural Goods as a brick-and-mortar downtown Bend, Oregon under my ever-growing tool belt. Some of you know, Found started as an Etsy shop nearly four years ago after putting my digital marketing experiences to the test matched with events, pop-ups and many custom orders. 1001 NW Brooks Street lit the fire underneath me to invest in myself 100%. No more side hustling.
Today, 50+ artists (31 locals) are supported by our shoppers, which doesn't include the women who keep Found open, the other small businesses we support, and the filters (sustainable, organic, up-cycled, recycled, handmade) for all the work we curate which additionally supports another round of source-material makers. To say the tribe has grown is an understatement.
Proud is also an understatement. The support of my community blows me away, daily. And, I now know, there is a difference between freelancing and running a small business. It's the difference of risk, challenge, sleep or lack thereof, and well, risk again.
Cheers to everyone carving their own path,
