A few years ago, I was lucky enough to have months spent around the Bahiá de Banderas Jalisco, México. In that time I ran every morning at sunrise, surfed daily, ate chunky peanut butter on tortillas afterward, had a lot of time in with my grandparents, ate way too much guacamole on seafood every night, lots of tequila, and I seemed to read a book in the hot sun each week.
I also met a lot of really great people. People who had two homes, and mostly, one in the Bay and another in Canada. They know how to live. Each of their homes had one thing in common, these handmade coasters floating around from guest to guest. Functional, beautiful, and extra special because they're uncut, straight from the loom.
I'm bringing them into the FNG lineup; Wool Drink Sails––an homage to the derivative of "coasters"––as they "coast" around the table from guest to guest.
