What is the theme of FOUND?

We are a brick-and-mortar shop located downtown Bend, Oregon with sustainability top-of-mind. We support over 50 artists each month, most of them being women, which includes our staff and founder, Jacqueline Smith. The majority of our artists resided in the PNW.

When did you open?

FOUND started in 2014 on Etsy and rolled into an online shop via this website designed by our Founder. After a couple years of pop-ups around the state of Oregon, the downtown location opened in June 2018. We are ecstatic for our growth and your support! It takes a community. and you are ours. June 2024 we are celebrating our 6 year anniversary!

What is the inspiration of FOUND?

Treasures, traveling, tokens, finding a shell on the beach, a feather on the grass, a pine nut inside a pinecone, edible wax currents on a long trail run, rivers sparkling in the sun. FOUND was dreamt up from the idea of literal found natural goods that are all around us, and when we see them daily, they bring us ear-to-ear.

We are ALWAYS accepting new artists and makers. Let’s talk! Email us at the contact information on this page. But before you do, please consider the rest of the words on this FAQ page. Please know we are focusing our shop around sustainability — so up-cycled, recycled, recyclable materials, compostable and/or biodegradable packaging, Oregon Tilth, and USDA Organic certification is very important to us. That said, we are also curating the shop to a certain aesthetic, so please know not everyone is a fit even if all the boxes mentioned above are checked. RETURNS

All sales are final.

At the end of the day, we want you to be happy —but know this— positive attitudes and respect go so far with us. Please be kind with your requests.

In special cases, we will offer you shop credit or if you want a return we ask for 5% to cover our restocking and POS fees that are not refundable to us.

GIFT CARDS

Yes, we offer FOUND Natural Goods gift cards! You can also purchase one in-store. We will happily mail you your gift card or send it to your loved one free of costs.

SHIPPING

We will happily ship you whatever you’d like inside the shop, at a charge estimated via USPS using weight and measurements — expect to pay around $25 for this stellar shipping service. Please know we use recycled paper waste and packing goods. Please re-use our shipping materials!
